Stopped off here on the way out of town for a work assignment. It had a good yelp rating so I decided to try it out. I was not disappointed at all. Friendly service, nice decor and soft music. I had the lunch special with 3 sushi rolls and salad with ice tea. The food was tasty and it filled me up. I ordered shrimp tempura roll, a salmon roll and white tuna roll. Lunch specials are reasonable with what you get.
Yupp, half price sushi for happy hours is back. Good portions, very fresh, with nice presentation and attentive service. Tea & sake could have been hotter, but the crockery is nice. Very happy......
First time here since moving into the area, food was immaculate! The chef was hilarious & he put on an amazing performance 10/10. The ambiance was very relaxed & welcoming. My only gripe was with the server. Could tell he was brand new, we did not receive our miso soup or complementary salad prior to our meal. We all had to wave down another server to get refills on our drinks. All & all, we enjoyed our time this evening & we will return in the near future.
This is your standard hibachi. We actually decided to eat at the normal restaurant side of the business. The only couple of downside were the salad needed to be drained or spun out before being put in a bowl, and the main course came out way too fast to enjoy the soup (actually good flavor) and salad before the meal was delivered. The food was well seasoned and came in around $55 bucks for 2 people.
We had a Hibachi dinner tonight around 5:00 o'clock. It was 10 of us sitting around the grill and the chef was amazing and cooked a perfectly very delicious dinner. Our server was awesome as well and was on top of the needs of our Birthday party. I've been a repeat customer of the Okinawa Restaurant for several years and not once have I experienced a poor quality of foods or experienced a bad server, great server's every time. Phil
